I recently returned from a short, 2 day shoot in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. My job was to capture a short story about an organization called Families At The Dump. They are helping and facilitating children and families to transition into a brand new apartment complex. The idea is to get the families out of their shanties at the base of a garbage dump and into proper housing, so they can live better lives, and eventually move into a home of their own. The idea is widely used in America, but is somewhat new to Puerto Vallarta.
